Roy Wroth

An urbanist dedicated to improving the human environment, Roy Wroth is an experienced urban designer and a committed community development strategist. His work seeks to further community economic development initiatives and build regenerative cultures.

From 2015-2017, Roy served as Design Director at the Chattanooga Design Studio, a public-purpose urban design consultancy focused on downtown Chattanooga.

Roy has over 20 years experience in architecture, planning, and urban design, and has worked in China, the Caribbean, and the American Southwest. He has been a member of numerous interdisciplinary teams, with experience in the public, private, and social enterprise sectors. Roy has worked for Arup International, for Moule and Polyzoides Architects and Urbanists, and for city and tribal governments. Roy holds degrees in Architecture from the University of Virginia and the University of Pennsylvania.
